Taking, and helping others take, the next step toward Christ... together!

Your Eternal Destiny

The Bible says in John 3:16, "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God loves you. No matter what you have done, God loves you. Your darkest sin cannot keep God from loving you. Even your unbelief cannot cause God to not love you. But it can keep you lost in spiritual darkness forever.

Not realizing that you are separated from God by your own sin and God, being just, must punish sinners, you are doomed to the fiery judgment of a holy God. You must repent! If you admit that you have broken God's commandments, and seek to flee the wrath to come, keep reading. You may not think that you deserve God's forgiveness. Your'e right, you don't, no one does.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

We have ALL broken God's laws.

Every person except Jesus has broken God's commandments and deserves eternal punishment. People are evil by nature. The Bible says in Romans 3:10, "There is none righteous, no, not one ... There is none who seeks after God." If God is so good and I am so bad, how can I know Him? How can I be forgiven of my sins? Would God really take all of this guilt from my heart? Can I really have a personal relationship with God? How can I know that I have eternal life?

Remember, God loves you!

You must come to God broken. He accepts only the humble; He turns away from the proud. God wants to save you. And He has made a way for you to have eternal life. That way is Jesus. The Bible says in John 14:6...

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one comes to the

Father except through Me."

We are not good enough, but Jesus is. He paid for our sin when He died on the cross. He took the punishment of God's anger in our place. God loves you, but He hates sin. That is why Jesus had to suffer so and why we must turn away from sin and turn to Christ Jesus as our only hope for forgiveness.

The Bible says in Romans 6: 23, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." We must sincerely hate the sin that separates us from God the Father. Are you sorry for sinning against God? Do you want to be forgiven and make a brand new start with God? The Bible says in Romans 10:9, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Are you ready to become a new creation?

Pray this prayer.

WAIT!   "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart..." Psalm 51:17

Oh, God! Have mercy on me, a sinner. I know that I have sinned against You and deserve Your punishment. But I believe that Christ Jesus died on the cross so I could be forgiven. I believe that He rose again in victory so I could have eternal life. Please come into my heart and give me eternal life.

We join with the angels of heaven in rejoicing for you as you begin your new life in Christ. Your new life in Christ will not always be easy, but you will never walk alone again. Christ Jesus will go with you every step of the way. Just trust Him.

It is very important that you join with other believers in Christ so that you can be encouraged, strengthened and discipled. As a new believer, you are a disciple -- a learner -- of Jesus. You need to be in an environment where you can learn God's Word and discover your spiritual gift or gifts. God quips all believers with spiritual gifts for serving Him in His church. You will never be fulfilled until you find your place of service in God's kingdom. The path of discipleship is not always easy. God never promised that living for Him would be easy. But the true believer never regrets giving his or her life to the One that gave them that life and more -- eternal life.

If you just asked Christ to save you, we would really like to know so that we can pray for you.
